(More customer reviews)I ordered this pedal expecting something better than what I recieved. Im using a Fender Frontman 65R, and playing this pedal through this amp sounds very digital and shrill.. Maybe Im just a fan for low end growl, but I felt like in any setting you put this pedal on, it is missing something..
I was able to get a couple of decent sounds out of it, but as I stated before, it still leaves something to be desired.
The interface is a pain to work with untill you get used to it and the settings are confusing unless you are sitting with the instruction manual in your hands..
I was hoping to use this pedal to save me from dumping more money into my musical gear by buying a bunch of different pedals.. But, you get what you pay for.. Overall, I was a little disappointed with this pedal. It is better to classify this pedal as a toy, rather than a serious guitar pedal.

UPDATE
So Ive been playing with this pedal for the past few months. Ive decided that I like all of the effects it has to offer EXCEPT for most of the distortions on the pedal (This may also be influenced by my amp, a Fender Frontman 65R). If you play clean, all the effects (tremelo, chorus, delay, etc.) are actually pretty good.. Distortion sounds coming from the pedal do seem digital and are overall horrible (at least on my amp). This pedal actually replaced ALL of my stomp boxes. I find it easier to hook up this one pedal rather than make a whole chain of stomp boxes.
It grows on you..

(More customer reviews)Everyone has these, and they are good in a pinch. It comes with an exceptionally long cable, and then another exceptionally long chaining cable, but between those, and the 1700mA output, you should be able to power most of a standard medium sized pedal board. For that purpose, and the fact that it's so cheap ($30 to power up all your pedals, when most power adapters on their own are ~$20? That is a stellar deal), these things are great. Like I said, good in a pinch too, and I definitely don't think it's a bad idea to keep one of these around, in the event that your *real* power supply should crap out on you at an inopportune time. This also comes with a plethora of connectors, including battery clips and mini-power inputs.
There's a few reasons why this should not be your *real* power supply. For one, even if you do use only 9V pedals and this has the amperage to power all of them... these are notorious pedal-buzzers. The more effects you add on to it, the buzzier it will get. This is especially bad with anything that has an LFO, which admittedly, most 9V pedals do not... but even still, this is a noisy little device.
Secondly, this won't be able to handle anything that requires AC, and it won't be able to handle any 12V, 18V, or 24V pedals. A lot of pedals are 9V, so this covers most of your bases... but don't count on it to be a solution to all of your pedal problems without doing a little more research into what your pedals need. You can fry your pedals and the power supply if you connect your pedals to the wrong power.

I don't know anything about violins but wanted to make it more interesting more my daughter to learn the instrument so decided to go with the color she picked. And she loved it !! Our teacher said this violin plays exactly the same as a regular violin and wished color violin was available when he was learning it. He has also recommended his other students to get them in black, blue, etc. I would recommend the violin to any child who is starting to learn the instrument. Once my daughter get better and by the time she gets to the full 4/4 size, I will upgrade to a regular natural color violin for her. Once thing, the violin bow that comes with this violin is still regular natural color. It is not available with different colors.

Nice sound and decent quality...definitely for the money. Although you wouldn't want to perform with them, they are a good guitar to get your feet wet with. The boys enjoyed it so much that I will be purchasing electric ones for Christmas.

When I opened the package I discovered that the end that plugs into the PC was bent and the receiving end that the headphones plug into was slightly too large for a 3.5 mm input. The result was that my headphones kept disconnecting from the extension cord whenever I moved. Reading other reviews, this seems to be a common flaw in this product. Shipping back to the seller makes a more expensive purchase than buying the other extension cord available at Amazon. Save yourself time and money, buy the Maxell.

(More customer reviews)These are a direct fit for my PRS SE Santana guitar. They will probably outlast me and my grandchildren. I wish the knobs looked more like what PRS uses though so they looked more like factory parts instead of aftermarket, but whatever. Price is agreeable (around 45 American dollars for chrome at the time I purchased). Since the price is probably cheaper than what you could get a set of PRS SE factory tuners(or probably any brand name) for, I just don't understand why they dont use them in the first place or at least an in-house locking no name brand. That is the biggest hang up separating these guitars from their mega $$$$$ brethren.(hey Sterling by music man can do it at this price range)But I digress. If you are replacing crappy tuners with 10mm mounting holes you may not have to drill anything exept the little holes where the screws go in if you get these. If you're lucky you won't. I didn't. These things lock as you tune (no thumb wheel) and makes a marked improvement in tuning stability(not floyd rose perfect though). The holes where you run the string are offset so you could possibly string them up wrong. Just pay attention and you'll be okay.

Performnace Plus Ukulele Pitch Pipe - C-G-E-A Review

(More customer reviews)This pitch pipe is good enough to get your ukulele strings tuned "in the same the ball park", but if they're all like mine you'll need to do some additional tuning. 3 notes are a little sharp (by about the same amount). One note in particular is off much more than the other notes. I would have bumped my rating up to 3 stars if the pitch on all 4 notes were as least consistently off by the same amount.
The little clip-on electronic tuners have come down in price so much I would suggest purchasing one of those instead, especially for a beginner. Check out the Snark tuner GulfGecko mentioned. It cost more but is more accurate and easier to use than this pitch pipe...a better value for your money.

Fender Tim Armstrong Hellcat Acoustic Guitar, Natural Review

(More customer reviews)Having never played a Hellcat or even seen one in person, I was somewhat anxious to see what I'd bought. A few things: 1) the tuner and electronics are Fishman, but they're different from the picture. There are very small knobs to turn for bass, mid, and high instead of the sliders. It's very hard to see the position in low stage lighting. The tuner is more of a round display with red and green indicator lights. I like it better. Also, the battery compartment is located separately on the end of the guitar along with the jack. Not a bad design, actually. 2) the bridge pins are not black with white dots, but white with black dots. No big deal. 3) Fender advertises EXP 11's for strings. It came with a non-coated set of 12's. I changed the strings to Elixir 11's and it's much better. I think I'll play through this set of strings and then have the bridge shaved a little to lower the action. It's a little higher than I like. On the plus side, the finish and look of the guitar are first-rate and it really stays in tune. I've received nothing but complements on it and it's unique - so far nobody else in my area has one! I was surprised to see a "made in China" sticker in the soundhole, but it's really a quality guitar with a great sound, not too bright and not too muddy. Really shines through an amp, too. I wasn't expecting a great acoustic electric under $300, but this one easily takes on others twice the price. Recommended.

(More customer reviews)I bought 2 violins (1/10 size) for my 4 year olds. It comes with a great case that can be carried by hand or as a backpack.
One of the bows was not arched enough; it was too straight. I contacted the company about this and they immediately sent me a new bow that I am very satisfied with.
Some of the pegs are loose, which makes it hard to keep the strings tightened. I really only have a problem with one peg on one of the violins - the E string.
Our violin professor said the bridges are too high on these violins for this age. The grooves also do not match up well with the strings, so the strings slip on the bridge sometimes. She said they needed to be sanded and re-cut. When I contacted the company about this, they said that the teacher or customer usually does this to fit their needs. However, our professor said it should be done by a professional. I don't know yet how we will fix this.
I think the price was $55-60 when I bought it.
It is not perfect, but it is worth it for the price. I would recommend this company, as well as purchase from them again at the price we paid.

So far it has been really noiseless to me and a couple of friends using the same one - Good for tuning bass to!........Better than Fender in construction and use for bass. Better than the classic Boss one in price and led size.

Grover Vintage Bass Machine Head 142C4 Guitar Tuner Review

(More customer reviews)I put these Grover machine heads on my MIM Fender Standard Jazz bass. The stock ones were not terrible but they were a bit rough turning and seemed to go out of tune more often than on other basses I have had. I am very pleased with the Grovers. They are heavier built than the stock ones and look and feel higher quality with a nice finish and good quality castings. The Grovers feel a lot smoother turning and stay in tune better than the stock heads. Also the Grovers were fairly easy to install and fit well except that only two of the four mounting screw holes on each head fit with existing holes. I drilled two new holes for each and the old holes were covered by the bigger mounting surface of the Grovers. I did not notice a significant change in the sound of the bass. I think that the Grovers are a good value and gave my bass a higher quality look and feel.

Balalaika Ukulele, Tuners Review

(More customer reviews)I have to say that any pictures offered of this instrument do it no justice. It is far prettier in person, but how playable is it? Sadly, the answer is that it is not very playable at all. The two biggest problems are:
a) The tuners are EXTREMELY low quality. In fact, the tuners don't "lock". Meaning that once you tune a string, the tuner slips back to where it was originally - in a tension-free state! (i.e. out of tune)
b) Secondly, the bridge is so low that the strings actually touch the fret board at the high end of the neck (closest to the sound hole).
c) The "nut" (the bridge located on the neck of the instrument) is not even glued in place. If you are going to get this repaired, consider changing the plastic nut to a harder material, like bone, to improve tone and volume.
All of these things can be remedied. High quality tuners can be purchased from Stewart/Mac ([...]), and the bridge can be raised by adding a thin layer of bone over the rosewood bridge to raise the string height. In any event, these adjustments will likely require the tools and skills of a professional, and that means $$$!
If you want a show piece, this is it. If you want to play it, you will need to sink quite a few ore dollars into it to get it to sing like a REAL balalaika.
