(More customer reviews)I bought this for my bass string instrument even though I have an electronic vibration-type tuner because I want to actually hear the correct pitch sometimes for myself, and not be dependent on batteries. And sometimes I want to practice singing the melody line when my instrument isn't handy. I also use it for ear training with intervals. I got the Eb to Eb version because the lowest open string on my bass is an E and I wanted to cover that with the lowest E tone available. (Of course, its E is not in my bass's low E octave, anyway, but that doesn't really matter.) This Kratt chromatic pitch pipe has the quality feel and tone of a fine instrument.
