(More customer reviews)This chromatic tuner is a lot more flexible than regular guitar tuners if you want to do drop D tuning, DADGAD, open G or any of the other variations, or if you want just one tuner for the whole band.
It will also work on the horn section and woodwinds. In fact if you want you can check the tuning on your kitchen appliances. Our coffee grinder is a mildly flat A#.
Which brings to mind the fact that the tuner display defaults to showing sharps instead of flats. So if you're tuning your high school concert band you have to tune to "A#" instead of "Bflat", which is no big deal.
