(More customer reviews)I bought this because of an incredible price drop. I think now I would pay full price to put one in another guitar. I did have to deepen the well inside the guitar, which I did with my dremel. Some people may not want to do this, but I had already re-routed the body to fit humbuckers. Check the depth before you buy. The wiring was simple and it turned on the first time. You'll want to have basic soldering skills to install or know someone who can.
How it works: simple. pull the knob out and the led lights below the tuner disc do a nice little flash to let you know its working. Pluck a string and two of the leds will light up. The first shows you which string you are tuning (E, A, D, etc) and the second shows you if you are sharp, flat or in tune. I haven't checked the accuracy in any scientific way, but it does match another tuner and seemed to be in-tune playing with the band.
A great way to save space on the pedal board and much cheaper than any decent true-bypass tuner.
