(More customer reviews)The BOSS TU-1000 floor tuner functions very well and has a multitude of features for tuning an electric instrument. The LED display is large enough for anyone to see including those with limited vision. One of the best features is the optional muting of the signal for silent tuning which also be un muted for tuning during performance. Numerous features allow for various tunings, and can be set according to the users desire.
However, much to my surprise, the unit was much larger and heavier than I remembered when I saw it on display before purchasing. Also, the unit will require a carrying case to prevent damage such as a padded drummers stick case.
