(More customer reviews)I'll keep this short. This pedal is sturdy, has tuner out and volume control. Also, you can adjust the pedal resistance to your own liking!!! Major bonus for live play as I hated my last touchy Fender volume pedal as it was too lose and just touching it caused big volume swings.
Haven't done these reviews much, but the vendor was cool, fast ship and the lowest price on the Web.
Sound is great, no tone suck...............I'm a pedal and amp geek and know the differences and this is great. Only draw back is the size, much like the full sized EB pedal, but very sturdy!

George Washburn Limited All Koa Concert Ukulele Review

(More customer reviews)I just got this uke a few days ago, and I absolutely love it. I would give it 5 stars in a heartbeat. I immediately changed the nylon strings out for Aquila nylgut strings because they had terrible sound and felt too stretchy. After that improvement I couldn't be happier. Build quality is immaculate, finish is great, playability is fantastic, and the tone is bright and loud. I'd recommend it to anyone (with a new set of strings). Now that there is finally a review, nobody has to take a stab in the dark for this beautiful uke.

Intelli IMT-1000 Digital Dual Metronome & Pitch Generator Review

I've been drumming for seven years, but this is my first time every playing with a metronome.
Drums are incredibly loud in the first place, and I play pretty hard, so I use earplugs. This metronome's speaker is very loud on full volume, but not quite loud enough to hear clearly over full-blast drumming.
Fortunately, the metronome has a headphone jack (1/8'' mono). I have seen some complaints about metronomes that only come out one side the headphones, but I really don't mind. With earplugs in under my headphones (~$80 over-ear style), the metronome is plenty loud. At full volume, it's too loud for me.
You can choose from 1 to 7 beats per measure, and there are 8 different rhythms (tick-tock-tock-tock; tick-tick-tick-tick; etc.). Because of all these options, it's really handy that there are two memory settings. For example, I can keep Metronome 1 on a 5-beat pattern at 220bpm and Metronome 2 on a 4-beat pattern at 180.
This metronome is everything I want in a metronome as a drummer. Its versatility is worth the slightly high price.

(More customer reviews)I purchased the starter pack for my husband for Christmas. He was happy with it, but it did not come with a Clip-On Chromatic Tuner as stated in the product description. Instead it came with a "pitch tuner" which is irritating and misleading. One of the main reasons I got this specific pack was because of the clip-on tuner. I see that another review had the same experience after I purchased the pack. It's okay for use and my husband is happy, but if I had to do over I would have gone with a different pack.

Kala Makala Tenor Ukulele Starter Pack with FREE Gift Review

(More customer reviews)My Makala tenor uke arrived on time and in perfect condition (packaged very well). Not a scratch or blemish on the finish. It comes with black strings, I think they are nylon, and held it's tuning pretty much right from the start. All the frets are smooth and the action is nice. Once I found the "sweet spot" it has a nice, rich tone. I also bought a Mahalo soprano uke, but find it a bit too small for me, and a little "tinny". I'd definitely recommend the Makala as an excellent starter instrument for someone who doesn't want to spend a fortune on a decent uke.

Kala KA-S Mahogany Soprano Ukulele Starter Pack with Club Entry Review

(More customer reviews)I got a burr up my butt to start playing the ukulele. So I went onto Amazon and started looking. There are many brands and many many prices for what seems like the same product. Kala is a strong brand and they make many different models starting from about $50 and up. I didn't want a $300 Uke just to find out it wasn't for me. So I opted for a "starter kit", a uke, a bag, and a tuner...all for $89. It's a smart way to go. The uke sounds good but is difficult to keep in tune due to the cheaper tuners, but don't let that scare you away. These are fine quality instruments, not toys. I was so happy with my purchase (and my supposed ability to play) that I recently stepped up to a Kala Travel Uke, uke and bag around $160. Very nice, great tuners (stays in tune), nice sound, very quality feel. Anyway, that's my story, and I'm happy with the way I did it. Thanks, Alj

EVH Eddie Van Halen D-Tuna Drop D Tuning System Review

(More customer reviews)It works as advertised IF you have a compatible guitar. I have a Dean Dime o Flame ML and because of the gap between the tremolo system and the body, the D Tuna wont fit properly once pulled out to the Drop D setting, it will be pressed against the body while slightly lifting your tremolo system. So it is likely it wont work on other Dean MLs or other guitars with similar tremolos (I think they're called "Locking" or "double locking", someone please correct me if I'm mistaken). I give it only 4 starts b/c I could not find out it didnt work with my favorite guitar until after I got the D-Tuna and spent the time installing it.
However, on different guitar, (this one has the tremolo and bridge slapped right on the body, instead of floating with a gap to the body) it works awesome! Going from standard E to Drop D in 1 second, and then back to E whenever you want, how is that not cool and convenient?!

iTab P01BK Electronic Songbook Review

(More customer reviews)I received this as a gift (It was on my wish list). I've been trying to figure it out for a couple hours and I just don't think it works the way anyone would expect. First there is no Guitar Tab used. For a given song, the major chords and there fingering are listed, for example 'Am XO221O'. Then it's just lyrics with the chord names over the change points. So it's less like Tab and more like a lyric cheat sheet. The system is supposed to scroll in time, but several songs just do not work at all. Manually scrolling to see a preview of all the lyrics is very difficult to do as there isn't a smooth scroll but rather a few line jump every time you touch the scroll bar. You can load MP3s and even create your own tab files, but the sound output via built in speaker is very weak, and through the headphone output is not very good. Additional songs are averaging $0.44 for the tab files. You can load your own MP3s. I'm going to try a bit more, but be warned, if you're used to an iPhone or similar, and expect that this is going to be the musicians version with Guitar Tab, you'll be very disappointed.
