Originally, getting just 1 tuning machine like this would cost the price of this whole set, scary huh? I put them into a Silvertone Revolver to reduce the chrome and increase the contrast between the black body edges and the natural wood on the body, and boy, these things work even better than the original tuning machines!
I have a few simple suggestions for prospecting buyers of this fine product. First, make sure they will fit in the headstock since not every instrument is created equally. Second, use an electric screw driver to install them to prevent stripping screws (something I almost did with a mechanical screw driver). Last, put down some duct over where you will insert screws to prevent the wood from getting nasty splits.
I give these Mighty Mite tuning machines a 5 out 5 since they are beyond amazing for their price even if they smudge quickly. For more great deals on guitar & bass parts, I definitely suggest getting products from mightymite.com !
