I have a Dean Dime o Flame ML and because of the gap between the tremolo system and the body, the D Tuna wont fit properly once pulled out to the Drop D setting, it will be pressed against the body while slightly lifting your tremolo system. So it is likely it wont work on other Dean MLs or other guitars with similar tremolos (I think they're called "Locking" or "double locking", someone please correct me if I'm mistaken). I give it only 4 starts b/c I could not find out it didnt work with my favorite guitar until after I got the D-Tuna and spent the time installing it.
However, on different guitar, (this one has the tremolo and bridge slapped right on the body, instead of floating with a gap to the body) it works awesome! Going from standard E to Drop D in 1 second, and then back to E whenever you want, how is that not cool and convenient?!
