(More customer reviews)I got a burr up my butt to start playing the ukulele. So I went onto Amazon and started looking. There are many brands and many many prices for what seems like the same product. Kala is a strong brand and they make many different models starting from about $50 and up. I didn't want a $300 Uke just to find out it wasn't for me. So I opted for a "starter kit", a uke, a bag, and a tuner...all for $89. It's a smart way to go. The uke sounds good but is difficult to keep in tune due to the cheaper tuners, but don't let that scare you away. These are fine quality instruments, not toys. I was so happy with my purchase (and my supposed ability to play) that I recently stepped up to a Kala Travel Uke, uke and bag around $160. Very nice, great tuners (stays in tune), nice sound, very quality feel. Anyway, that's my story, and I'm happy with the way I did it. Thanks, Alj
