(More customer reviews)I bought this for my son to practice on. It sounds pretty good and sounds like a Marshall but it's fairly noisy - even on the clean setting. Also, I think it's outclassed by the new amps from Line-6 and Fender - particularly the Mustang I. I'll be exchanging his for the Mustang I which sound cleaner, can sound like a small tube amp, a Marshall and others for the same price. I think the Fender is a better value and more versatile.

You cant play this with standing position because there's only one hook for the strap.

Lanakai LU11 Standard (Soprano) Ukulele Review

(More customer reviews)Buying this ukulele was a plunge - there were no reviews at the time on Amazon and barely any on the Internet. The plunge was successful. This is a wonderful little instrument. It's easy to use, both to tune and to play. Other ukuleles have had complaints of shoddy craftmanship, that they could actually see the glue holding it together. The LU11 looks well made without a hint of glue. My only complaint is about the booklet that comes with the uke. Maybe I just need things spelled out, but it seemed like some things were left out that an experienced player would just take for granted. That's not really a problem, though, since the 'net is sure to have the information you need.
Also, if you can...buy the case made specifically for the LU11. It is amazing.
